I just got back from your average UK festival and already real life is depressing me. I dont know what i would do with myself after burning man....
It’s pretty amazing. It was my first time! I really recommend going! The main thing that I enjoyed was being in a place where you have permission to just be nice to everyone, and since everyone is IN on it (the niceness), there is no social anxiety about talking to strangers, accepting gifts, giving gifts, giving compliments, dressing like a crazy person, dancing like a fool, being yourself. Of course, there’s also the SPECTACLE (oh god, the spectacle.) And the dust.
Overall, I’m just left with a lot of inspiration to make art and to keep space in my life for things that are interesting and out of the ordinary.
